A great forerunner has gone out of the team.
Dee Justin, Your demise has left me in shock, I could not believe it when I got the news of your passing to glory, as I had great assurance and faith that you will get well from your sick bed. But in everything we look up to God for grace to bear the vacuum your absence have created. You desired the best for every member of our family as well as everyone that came your way, you were kind and supportive to everyone who sort for your support. You supported my education even with your little earning, you did same to many. You built men in our family, community as well as in the woodwork industry. You will definitely be remembered for your good works and I believe they will speak for you. You drive for development both in the Church and in our community is evident, You interest in human capital development is second to none. You were a symbol of good hope. Rest on my great brother. Rest on a man of great vision. Rest in peace a man of capacity. Adieu Dee Justin. May our good Lord grant you peace and eternal rest at his bosom in Jesus name, Amen.

TRIBUTE TO A BROTHER OF SUBSTANCE.
De'em Justin,is it real?Is this a dream? Can things happen so dramatically? Have you really left us? You mean we will not hear your humor again? You mean we will not hear the words of wisdom again? You mean we will not be getting the true stories of what happened even 60 years ago which we have forgotten again? You mean your extra ordinary empathy on people has stopped? All these days, ponder and wonder have refused to go away from me. I have seen it is real, real in deed! that an encyclopedia has left our house,a strong voice has departed our house without notice, a strong man has gone out of the team. My emotions are truly failing and my gaze becoming deem as this reality is dawning on me. De'em Justin, your impacts,no one can deny, your foot prints,no one can claim he or she did not notice, your voice, no one would say he did not hear. I am finding it difficult to bid you this farewell. But I have to do it this time. Bye bye De'em Justin, the pain of your departure is truly much on us.I hand over everything to God. Your brother,
Pastor  Emma  Eke

A kind hearted Brother Sir J. C. Ekkehson
Life on earth is likened to a vapor that you see today and will see no more tomorrow. James 4:14. Who would have thought Ekkehson has become someone that is no more on this divide of life. Ekkehson as you were fondly called had some outstanding qualities that are worthy of emulation, you were a man of the people who desired, that all your relatives were united and prospered together. I recall how during the Nigerian Civil war we always ate together in one plate, you would share the meat/fish in our soup, we would begin to pick according to seniority. When you began to live in Aba, your house was a holiday haven for all of us. Ekkehson, you were always eager to meet people’s needs even when you don’t have the means. With your death, it is understatement that I have lost a great cousin. You distinguished yourself as an exceptional furniture maker. Your furniture/wood work was such that at point in time, your products were exported to our neighboring countries. Ekkehson, though you have gone but your legacy lives on. Sleep on J. C. Ekkehson. Sleep on beloved cousin Sleep in the bosom of the Lord.

A Tribute to a Jolly Good Fellow – Ekkeson
A Tribute to a Jolly Good Fellow – Ekkeson From Nna Anyi Nwahiri Not long ago, we shared a warm conversation when you delivered the beautiful royal chairs you crafted for me and my wife. As I sit upon that chair, I will always remember you—your laughter, your dedication, and your joyful spirit. Your sudden passing has left us all in deep shock and sorrow. It is difficult to find the right words to express the pain that fills my heart. Your jovial smile, your kind heart, and the light you brought to every room will be sorely missed. You were more than a craftsman of rare talent, but a gifted Man with a truly good soul. I call on God Almighty to comfort and strengthen your beloved family during this unimaginable time. May they find peace in the love you shared and the memories you left behind. Since it has pleased God to call you to His glory, we take solace in the hope that the gates of heaven have opened wide to receive you. May angels guide you to your eternal rest, and may your soul find peace in the bosom of the Almighty. Rest well, Ekkeson. Your memory will live on in our hearts forever.

TRIBUTE TO SIR J.C EKKSON - A BRAVE ICON
It is extremely difficult for me to believe that you are no more as I have waited patiently for the reversal of that unpleasant news. In a world hungry for integrity and strength, Sir JC Ekkson stood as a pillar unshakable, unbreakable and undeniable. With quiet dignity and unwavering courage, You faced storms that would have silenced many and walked through them unbowed. You were a voice not just heard, but felt A voice that challenged injustice, inspired hope, and demanded better. Where others saw risk, you saw purpose. Where others stepped back, you stepped forward. Sir JC Ekkson did not ask for applause but for truth, for honor, for a future worthy of those yet to come. And in doing so, you became more than a man and a movement as well. Though the world may feel dimmer without your light, Your legacy blazes on in every life you touched, Every mind you awakened, Every soul you emboldened to be braver than yesterday. Thank you for showing us that bravery isn't the absence of fear, But the will to rise in spite of it Your name will echo through generations not as a memory, But as a rallying cry for courage. Good bye Sir

A TRIBUTE TO A GALLANT ** SOLDIER
Sir Justin Ekkeson, it is quite difficult for me to accept that you are no longer in existence. The news of your demise came to me as a shock because it was not quite too long we spoke on the phone concerning peace and unity in our community. From your discussions, one could see how much love you had for your people. It is so painful that you have left the people you cherished so much as if all were your blood brothers and sisters. You were a gallant fighter who fought for society with much love and would not want anything to bring disunity among you. As a Night of the Church, you equally fought for her. I can not forget in a hurry how you used to hold your knife during Church harvest to cut plantains - 'going, going, gone'. Promoting the work of God. It gladdened my heart when you would address me 'Nwunye nwannem', now who will call me that name again? I have not really sat face to face and chatted with you before. It is always in the Church or on the phone, but i discovered that you cherished and respected people a lot. Man of peace, 'gaa nke oma' May the Lord grant your soul peace in His glory.

A SOFT SPOKEN UNIFIER
De Justin, words failed me when I heard of your demise. You were a soft spoken gentleman. Full of wisdom. Every of your sentences were proverb driven. You acted and lived like the Apostle Paul in the Bible. How I wish all your words could be gathered as letters to communities specifically to Umuocham for guidance and direction. You were a unifier and a problem solution provider. Journey well till we meet to part no more. Bye for now!

Tribute to a wonderful father/friend
A Tribute to My Father and Friend Today, I honor a man whose presence was a quiet strength, whose wisdom was a guiding light, and whose heart was a place I always called home. He was not only my father but my truest friend—a rare and beautiful bond that shaped who I am in ways words can barely express. In his laughter, I found joy. In his words, I found truth. And in his silence, I found a comfort that required no explanation. He was the kind of man who didn’t need to say much to teach a lesson—his life was the lesson. Through every challenge, every triumph, every ordinary day, he showed me what it meant to live with integrity, patience, and grace. He gave freely—not just his time, but his belief in people. He stood by me when I stumbled and celebrated when I soared. And even now, when I look for strength, I still hear his voice in the back of my mind, steady and sure. He wasn’t perfect—but he was real. And that realness, that unshakable authenticity, is what made him unforgettable. I miss him deeply, but I carry him with me always—in my choices, in my character, in the quiet moments when I remember how deeply I was loved. Thank you, Dad. Thank you, my friend. Your legacy lives.EKE

Tribute to Sir J. C. Ekkeh
Indeed, it is a painful exit. I visited you at the hospital on the 25th day of April 2025, and intended to visit you again on the 27th day of April 2025, but you passed on before the said date. I called Dimkpa ( your first son) to ask how you were doing but he told me to go for mass and give him a call when I come back, but I wasn't comfortable with his words, I insisted he tells me the condition of his father's health and he then said Aunty Kelee Dede has gone to meet with the Lord. Ekkeh nke anyi as we fondly call you in our house you left so soon. Ekkehson, you were a good man, a great writer, an expert in the use of words, a man full of new ideas, a man that puts smiles on people's faces, an oracle of modern furniture.
